You can take amoxicillin before or after food.

Take all doses at evenly spaced periods of time during the day – starting with the first dose either an hour before or two hours after eating breakfast.

To treat a sore throat, take two to four doses every six hours as needed until your symptoms improve. Children under 8 years will usually be given half the adult dose (50mg to 125mg) because their bodies are smaller, but their doctor will tell them how many milligrams they should take.

For children with infections, it is sometimes hard to determine what is best for them- treats the infection does not completely go away after three days of treatment with regular doses, then both your doctor and the pharmacist will decide if your child should use the drug again for another 2 days. However, if improvement occurs before three
